
PLANTATION CHRISTMAS WELCOMES BOB BELLAMY AND WENDY BARLOW

 | | | | Bob and Wendy’s music is the result of two instruments, harp and hammered dulcimer, creating one new sound being performed seamlessly. It is their hope that their music will allow you, the listener to find moments of peace and possibility.
Highlights from 1999- 2009 • Annual Christmas performances at the Biltmore Estate and the Greenbrier Resort.
• Guest artists for National Public Radio produced by WKSU, Burton Parish Church Candlelight Concert Series in Williamsburg, Virginia and other concerts and workshops.
• High profile events held at George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens including: General Washington’s 275th Birthday for the Founders, Pulitzer Prize author David McCullough, members of the European Union sponsored by Coca Cola, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and for Garden Days.
• Bastillle Day held at the Embassy of France in Washington, D.C. hosted by the French Ambassador to the United States
• In celebration of the 250th Birthday and Grand American Tour of the Marquis de Lafayette they performed at Tudor Place in Washington, D.C. attended by the French Ambassador.
• Wendy has performed for former First Lady Barbara Bush and for the 2008 Jane Goodall
• Institute Global Awards Ceremony hosted by Anderson Cooper, Pierce Brosan, Patch Adams and Abigail Breslin in Washington, D.C. and in 2009 for former US Senator, Presidential nominee, and film actor, Fred Thompson
Recordings Together they have created three recordings, Always Home, Softly & Tenderly and The Moon Shines Bright. Bob has four recordings, American Architecture, Rise Over Run, As Silent Stars Go By and Windridge. Wendy created and produced, Vision of Souls and composed and arranged music for a A Christmas Carol, produced by New Hampshire Public Radio. Selections from all of these recordings can be heard on NPR worldwide and LAST.fm based in London, England.
